Intro to Nerdo Domini

Hey all,
I'm VampKei. I used to write a blog for LOFLBlog, which has been dead for about a year. I'm gonna take some posts from there and post them on here because I don't want them to disappear into the aether. I've been getting the itch to write, so i've started up Nerdo Domini.

The word stems from Anno Domini which losely translates to "In the year of our lord", and denotes the time after Jesus was born. Since he lived until his 30's. I felt it was appropriate, since nerd culture started about 30 years ago. I'm not religious, but I had to explain the definition. I also chose this name because it sounded cool. I'll write an article about nerds through the years soon, and the evolution of nerds in general. I hope you enjoy the blog. It'll cover many topics which I consider nerdy. Which is a lot of things, even stuff that people would consider normal. There are nerds everywhere, even in the most common place. You just have to look for them. Most of us are very good at hiding, and acting like normal people, while others, well, not so much. You'd know if you've ever been to any kind of convention. Be it Sci-Fi or anime.

I'll also be writing around just random things. The stuff from LOFLBlog doesn't always pertain to nerdiness, but sometimes it does, so woot. I hope you enjoy the blog.
